pH probe + tapping saddle + gland DIY kit

This blue pH probe will be able to measure the pH of pool water for several years. The probe has a standard BNC connection and is interchangeable with probes from most other brands.

The probe has a diameter of 12 mm and is 120 mm long. It is usually installed in the pipe via a 1/2 inch probe gland.

It is necessary to calibrate the probe regularly (at least twice a year). We recommend storing the probes in KCl storage fluid during the winter. During calibration and/or during the winter, you can close the probe connection with fake probes.

The probe must be kept moist at all times. pH probes measure more accurately than pH strips and, in some cases (e.g. with abnormal alkalinity), also better than colour measurements.

In case of doubt about the functioning of the probe or the pH measurement, we have a certified pH 7.4 solution available.
