Shipping policy
6. Delivery
6.1 The delivery times are only given by the trader as an indication. Exceeding delivery times does not entitle you to a refund, cancellation of the order or suspension of agreements, unless the delay in delivery is such that you cannot reasonably be expected to maintain the agreement. In this case, you have the right to cancel the order or terminate the agreement if necessary. The statutory delivery time of 1 month for standard products (i.e. not customised products) is considered "reasonable" in the event of a dispute.
6.2 The products will be delivered at the agreed time and place as soon as they are ready for shipment.
6.3 Delivery will be made to the address specified in the order. We cannot guarantee that address changes made retrospectively by the carriers will be implemented correctly. Changed delivery addresses cannot under any circumstances give rise to claims for compensation.
6.4 Important Notice for customers in the United Kingdom
All orders shipped to the United Kingdom are dispatched from the European Union on a Delivery Duty Unpaid (DDU) basis. UK import VAT is collected by us at checkout (as shown in your order confirmation). However, any applicable UK customs duties and courier handling or clearance fees are not included in the product prices or shipping costs and are not collected by us.
Upon arrival in the United Kingdom, your parcel may be subject to customs clearance by HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC). Your carrier may contact you to collect any customs duties (based on the product's commodity/HS code) and an administrative handling fee before releasing your order for final delivery. These charges are levied by UK authorities and the carrier, not by us, and are beyond our control.
By placing an order, you acknowledge and accept the following:
6.4.1
You are the importer of record and are solely responsible for the payment of all customs duties and any ancillary fees or charges imposed by HMRC, Border Force, or the delivering carrier.
6.4.2
We bear no liability for any additional costs, delays, or actions arising from UK customs clearance procedures, including but not limited to parcel inspections, documentation requests, or duties assessments.
6.4.3
We are unable to predict the exact amount of customs duties you may be required to pay, as these are determined by HMRC based on the declared customs value, product classification, and applicable trade tariffs at the time of import.
6.4.4
Should you refuse or fail to pay the required customs charges, resulting in the return or destruction of the parcel, we reserve the right to deduct any return shipping, handling, or restocking costs from your refund.
6.4.5
Customs processing times are outside our control and may result in delivery delays beyond the estimated shipping times stated at checkout.
6.4.6
We strongly recommend that you familiarise yourself with current UK import regulations, particularly customs duties, by visiting gov.uk or by contacting HMRC directly before placing your order.
We strongly recommend that you familiarise yourself with current UK import regulations by visiting gov.uk or by contacting HMRC directly before placing your order. You may also wish to consult your carrier regarding their customs clearance process and applicable handling fees.
