The Pool Duo is an automatic water treatment device with salt electrolysis and pH neutraliser, of high quality and at an unbeatable price. To enable electrolysis, you must add 4 g of salt per litre of water. Salt will be converted into chlorine, which after disinfection will be converted back into salt.

The Pool Duo is designed for pool DIY enthusiasts. Since it is fully pre-assembled and comes with two rubber ends, it is very easy to install. Connect the inlet and outlet with rubber sleeves to the 50mm pipe (see diagram in product images).

The menu and calibration, activated by pressing a "calibration" button, are extremely simple.

Two versions available

• Disinfection at 16 g/hour: pools up to 80 m³ *
• Disinfection at 20 g/hour: pools up to 100 m³ *

* The definition of m³ for pool usability varies depending on pool use and layout and ranges between 3 and 5 times the disinfection capacity (g/hour) of the electrolysis unit.

The Pool Duo is supplied with a “flow switch” that stops dosing when no water flow is detected. Level detection stops pH dosing when the neutralisation tank is empty.

Once water passes through the measuring/dosing nipple, the device measures pH and redox (chlorine) and automatically adjusts pool values. When used correctly, you can be 100% sure of clean and healthy water.

Since our recent upgrade (January 2025), the WiFiPOOL controller works both via cable and WiFi. Its core is the Gen 2 chipset board, enabling complete pool control (see hardware below). The biggest advantage is that automation, whether factory preset or custom configured, is saved on the chip. If WiFi connection drops, your water treatment continues based on the parameters stored in the chip.

An Ethernet cable connection is optionally available to ensure connectivity. The biggest advantage, however, is that initial device configuration is much quicker and simpler.

Hardware

The core of this device is the WiFiPOOL Gen 2 circuit board, which enables full pool control. This board supports pH, RX (chlorine), flow, level (x3), temperature (x3), pressure, and conductivity (salt content) measurements.

Additionally, four control devices (frequency controller, peristaltic pumps, salt electrolysis, UV lamp, automatic valve, etc.) can be connected. The board includes a connector for an Ethernet cable, which can be used instead of WiFi.

In summary: this device allows you to systematically build a complete home automation system without extra investment in control equipment.

Software

Connecting and configuring WiFi devices via the WiFiPOOL app is very simple and efficient. The full automation strategy is automatically downloaded to your phone during installation.
