Solenoid 230V 2-way valve 1.5 inch - standard open or closed | WiFiPOOL connectable

This is a semi-direct operated 2-way solenoid valve with 1.5 inch thread and a 230V AC coil. The valve has a plastic housing with an EPDM seal and a generously sized passage.

The circuit function of the solenoid valve is normally closed, meaning the valve opens when powered.

The valve is suitable for pressures from 0 to 8 bar and a maximum temperature of 80°C. For simple applications, it is often enough to select a valve based on the thread size and passage diameter. Since our water treatment systems are equipped with 32 to 50 mm circulation pipes, we strongly recommend our 1.5 inch (38 mm) valve.
Comparable and cheaper 20mm solenoid valves are not suitable.

The EPDM (ethylene propylene diene monomer rubber) seal is suitable for neutral liquids and many chemicals but has poor resistance to oils and fats. The valve has an IP65 rating when correctly installed.

• Solenoid valves consume energy when activated and the coil can get hot. To dissipate heat, good ventilation of the installation environment is recommended.
