Installation instructions for the salt chlorine generator:

1. The generator must be installed on the last equipment line before it returns to the pool after filtration in the water purification process, on the horizontal or vertical side of the bypass pipe. A regulating valve must be installed on the main line to ensure sufficient water flow through the generator.

2. The salt chlorine machine’s controller must be installed in a ventilated dry location. It must be protected from rain and direct sunlight as much as possible, to extend the device's lifespan. The controller must be mounted on a panel or wall at a height of 1.5 m above the floor. A minimum of 100 mm free space must be maintained on all four sides. The top-left of the controller is the outlet port for cooling, which must not be blocked by other equipment to maintain cooling efficiency. To facilitate permanent installation, the two mounting holes at the rear of the controller are first secured with two brass screws horizontally spaced 180 mm apart. Align the mounting holes with the screws and press firmly.

3. To connect the salt and chlorine generator controller to the generator, connect the two red and one black electrode from the controller to the two (+) terminals and one (-) terminal of the generator electrode, respectively. Then connect the signal wire. The connector (water level/temperature) allows the controller to connect to the generator. To control underwater lighting, connect the underwater power cable directly to the controller’s AC12V output; the waterproof connector under the controller supplies power to the circulation pump. Open the waterproof cover to use.

Tip: If the user has an independent underwater lighting and circulation control system, the underwater lighting and circulation pump do not need to be connected. As long as the generator circulates sufficient pool water, this does not affect normal operation of chlorine production and other functions of the salt chlorine controller.

Note: The controller’s power supply must be connected to a circuit with earth leakage protection (AC220~240V/50Hz, 10A) and leakage current must be less than 30 mA.

1. For installation, a qualified electrician must carefully read the relevant instructions in the manual, installation, and operating instructions.
2. The environment where the generator is installed must meet requirements.
3. Run and connect the power supply to the device following applicable national and local regulations.
4. Check that the input voltage of the working power supply meets the controller requirements and connect correctly if necessary.
5. Ensure the external control equipment's performance matches and is compatible with all controlled devices.
6. The controller should be installed on stable vertical surfaces with at least 10 mm clearance on all four sides for ventilation.
7. The environment must be free from chemical vapours and excessive heat; the maximum temperature should not exceed 50°C (110°F).
8. Install the controller as far as possible from sources of electrical noise.
9. In case of faulty operation or malfunction, contact the nearest authorised dealer or technical service department.
10. If accessories are damaged, purchase them preferably from the manufacturer or an authorised service centre/reseller.
